Okay, TC...give. How do you upload a custom avatar like that little martian? I know where to select him and his ilk from but surely there must be a way to add to the avatar list.

What kind of file formats are allowable? What sizes must they be no larger than? What's the board policy on full frontal female nekkidness? :D

I have a nice Flash avatar and can make custom ones for those who want them...(In advertising, that's called a "hook") ;)

I would recommend a combo headphone/mic like most of us use. TC found a really nice set of Plantronics at Wal-Mart for $20.00 (+ or - a couple bux). He said they were Silver/Blue in color, stereo and have great sound. I'm going to get a set of them today. You should also be able to pick up Tribes 2 for $9.95 in a crystal case (or maybe even a box) at Wal-Mart too!

WElllll...since you are an administrator you have access to the admin side and can upload avatars to the avatar folder via ftp, then install them in the board. OR you can go to user CP and install them yourself Basically there is dimensional 110x110 size limits and file size limit of 20kb I think. Keep in mind minors to occasionally come to the board so full frontal nudity is not recommended in public areas :) However, there is always the private board :D

Okay, the Plantronics PC Headset Model LS-1 sells for $19.87 at our Wal-Mart. Has on/off switch, mute, and volume control, noise canceling speech recognition, full range stereo (100Hz - 8kHz), 95dB sensitivity and gold ends.

I did not find Tribes 2 at the Wal-Mart I checked out today, but there are two more in the immediate area. TC said he think T2 is selling for $19.95, considering it was $49.95 when we bought it, that's a pretty good deal too!
