Thanks for the welcome. Sorry about the short post something popped up while at work. :)

So how long has HiFi been around? How long has everyone been playing FPS online? MOHAA is the first one I've owned; I use to play Unreal, Half Life, and Sin at a friends house so I have some exp with FPS.

HiFi as a team is relatively new and we are in the process of looking for some mature well rounded players...however most of us have played together for nearly 7 years. This team was formed to get back the ideals of a gaming a few of hold dear. We are composed of adults. I think the youngest member currently is 26 with the oldest being 53. Ironically I met Euro about 7 years ago while playing mercs. Currently, as you are well aware...most of us are playing MoH. We do, however, still play Tribes 2 quite a bit since a few of the members are still on modems and have lag issues with MoH. I would say we tend to be mostly an FPS, although I have dabbled with RTS and quite a few of us play Sims as well (we have some Mech 4 players). I have been known to whip out the golf game on occasion for a change of pace. This weekend I think we are planning on cranking up the old T2 server as well as possibly installing the Unreal Tournament software on the server. Not sure how the lag will be for some people with that. Seems I may have to break down and put that 1Ghz processor in the server if I start running multiple games on the same rig. Although I can run T2 on the BC server since its installed there. Get with Euro, he can tell you where to get BC or I'll shoot you a link. If you have a mic and headphones feel free to join the channel and you will be able to speak with us as you play. Be warned though, a few of us have been known to spout a few explicatives from time to time and if it gets to ya just ask us to mellow out :D

TC explained the team very well. We all have played many dif games. I stil think MW2 mercs was an FPS but it has been explained to me that it was a SIM game. I have been playing online for 5-6 years now and it's a blast. I actually got a copy of Empire Earth and tried it out (RTS still isnt one of my fav's but it isnt too bad.) Right now I am stil on modem connect and no possibilities of getting any real bandwidth soon. I sure hope the new Tribes game has the same netcode, only game left us modem players can really play.

I say after the T2 weekend we should do a MW4 weekend. Grandpa I can ship you a copy to play with as I have an extra one. :D
