My god...got in the car at lunch, felt like a blast furnace when I went outside. Thing you have to keep in mind is the water is less that 10 minutes away...that tends to keep the temp down. Anyway, long story short...I got in the car temp read 101F, I've never seen triple digits before. 5 minutes down the road it was reading 105F...with humidity about aobut 60% that puts the temp feeling like 115F and sweat doesn't evaporate....god......

I grew up in 110+, granted low humidity, but I would rather be hot any day than cold.

Not me, I'd much rather be cold than hot. If you're cold you can do something about it, put on pants, jacket, etc...
If its hot you're screwed unless you have an airconditioner or in a place where you can strip down. Don't think I want to see to many people walking around town in their underwear. :enh:

It could be good if it was in a place full of fine females.....hehe

Perosnally I am used to the heat more than cold. I hate being cold, and feel that I can never warm up. Anywhere between 90 and 110 for me is like perfect. I did survive 122 in Phoenix one year. And yes, we did fry eggs on the sidewalks when I was a kid. Too kewl to see an egg cook on just a sidewalk.

...same with me - I hate being cold; it kills your will to go somewhere, do something, especially here in Canada, where winter goes for 8 monts, so to speak...
And, it would be interested to meassure temp in my car (TC gave me an idea :)), I got black leader/interior with outside black exterior. I almost died yesterday, wow.... (you see guys, we are desperate for some sun up north, my choice of colour can tell you that :D )

Having lived in Florida where I've seen temps go well above 100 with the heat index as well as having lived in Toronto delivering newspapers when it was close to -40....I can say with absolute confidence that I'd much rather be hot than cold any day.

Being too hot is uncomfortable....but being too cold hurts like hell. When your toes and fingers go numb you know it's gonna sting when they warm back up.

FYI: 40 Degrees C = 104 Degrees F.
Lesson for the Day:

To convert Fahrenheit into centigrade, subtract 32 and multiply by 0.555.

To convert centigrade into Fahrenheit, multiply by 1.8 and add 32.

....I was thinking posting the conversion myself :)

Now little brain twister for everybody:

At which temperature, both Celsius and Fahrenheit will have the same numerical value??
:D
