Hey Guys,
Before I post I will apologize since I am light years behind you guys in the technology department. Since I have installed BC and used it, I have had some major feedback problems even when BC is not running. Any suggestions or "elementary" commands for me to try to rid myself of this unsavory noise.

Thanks in Advance.:dunce:

Even when it's NOT running? You mean the BC client program isn't running and yer still getting feedback? TC might know better but that sounds like something is plugged in wrong somewhere.

BC is not running at all and I am still getting it. When I played with you guys yesterday afternoon I think the reason I was getting it was because my cell phone was on and near the speakers. However last night when you guys were on the match I went to a different server and was getting it like crazy. Hopefully TC knows something to do.

Okay, are you using a headset and mic or are you using speakers and a mic. Generally constant feed back is caused by the microphone being to close to the speakers OR the mic plugged into the wrong slot, ie second speaker jack etc. Check that out.

Speakers/Mic setup

Will check as soon as I get home today. Double check connection also since I just had everything disconnected to install Zip drive.
As always, thank you.

Being an ex studio musician it sounds like you have you mic too close to you speakers. :enh:

That is most likely the problem. I am going to look at buying a headset rather soon.

I just need you to send me a check, money order, Visa or Master Card # (no American Express!). Only kidding on the credit cards, I have to use mine, but I would like the moo--laa up front. Hey, I don't really know any of you guys personally! :) Just let me know.

For us, 'Canadians', Future Shop is a first place to go for things like these. They have Plantronics but not model .90 but .60 and more expensive one - HS1 Hi-Fi Stereo (hey, our trademark :)) for $39.97 Canadian. There are some good customer reviews about the latter model. Check it out at:

I think the .90 is the new model number for the HS1. I myself use the LS1
