How much differance will upgrading from Nvidia TI 4400 to a Nvidia 6800 make?
Now I have tried an ATI 6800 pro in my rig and found it to be only mildly faster than the 4400. Not worth spending the money on for the extra 5 fps that I was getting.
Any thoughts?

By all means I think you should upgrade immediately.
Then, in a move to repair your already severely abused karma, you should donate yer old card to the needy.
Euroranger = needy, BTW. :D
Oh, I almost forgot to mention...your karma would get a HUGE repair boost if you were to upgrade yer sound, memory, and chipset and donate all those to the "needy" as well. :tongue:

Karma Quotient is good this week. I have only abused a goat twice. Guess I'll save my money for something important, like beer.

Personally I would move the 9800 Pro before going to the 6800. The 6800 will require a 550 watt power supply. The real benefits of that card will come with PCI Express. I upgraded from a Ti4400 to 9800Pro and the difference was night and day.

You know I did. And in RVS I saw 5 fps better performance. In BGV no real delta in performance. Also on some Asus motheboards (the one I have) the ATI cards have a bad habbit of dropping from AGP 8 x to agp 4 x in mid game causing Skanky lag. There is a bios upgrade for the p4s8x but even after I loaded it up I got no real benny from the 9800 pro. Now the one I bought from newegg (and returned) may have been one of the non-pro sold as pro but I say no real improvement.

Powercolor was bad about that. There are some tweaks ou have to do to see a boost as well.
